Suicide Prevnetion

Picture1.png
There are many aspects to suicide prevention and what I am about to say is only added as an addition to this conversation that could potentially be helpful. As a person's recovery capital increases the risk of suicide, and suicidal ideation, decreases. So, by helping people increase the supports, strengths and resources that they experience in a meaningful way, we are encouraging a positive outcome from a difficult time in their life.

19. It is not my intention to offend anyone. This applies to all the content I, Gearoid Carey, create, such as social media posts, online videos, website content, books and downloadable documents. It is my aspiration to encourage open discussion and the exploration of a wide variety of topics, to protect free speech, especially dissenting voices and the voices of those I strongly disagree with - as this protects democracy and enlightens humanity, promotes peace, security, and prosperity, and protects the disadvantaged and vulnerable from the oppression of the powerful.  Open discussion might sometimes be uncomfortable; yet, I believe it’s worth it. But hate is another matter. For example, I hate paedophilia and this is a good thing - a good hate to hold in my heart. I hope people are stirred by hate towards the injustice and tyranny in the world - particularly the tyranny of the few over the masses, those few with inordinate wealth, ownership and influence.
